In 2024, a conference titled "Girls' Rights in Turkey: Access to Justice, Holistic Development, and Comprehensive Sexuality Education" was held, focusing on critical issues affecting girls in Turkey.

In 9th of December 2011, at Solmaz İzdemir Hall METU there was organized a Panel named "University Discusses Violence against Women" with the moderator Prof. DR.
